Celtic News & Events160 teams, traveling up to 170 miles away from 3 different states, descended upon Middletown, OH Sept. 24-25 to compete in the Midfest Soccer Classic. The BSA Celtic U8 Girls Blue team walked away with the second place trophy in the U8 Girls Division. Facing stiff competition throughout the tournament, the Celtic team lost in the championship game by a slim 2-1 margin in a 50 minute nail-biter against one of the top U8 girls teams in the Southern Ohio region - Cincinnati United Lakota Liverpool. Congratulations girls!!!
