Erik Karnebeek

Erik Karnebeek is our new Director of Coaching beginning Spring of 2012.  He is a native of the Netherlands and has an outstanding background as a player and coach in European soccer.  His player achievements include playing within several Dutch youth teams as an attacking midfielder or central attacker.  His coaching background involved working with several high level youth teams in the Quick'20 and Rood Zwart programs.  He currently holds a UEFA B License and has previous experience as a director of coaching.  In the Dutch systems, he was responsible for redesigning youth development programs and several players from the teams he trained made it to the professional youth academy of FC Twente, the league champion and runner up last year in the Eredivisie, the top flight professional league of the Netherlands.

 

Bryan Davis

Bryan Davis was name as the ninth head coach in Wright State Men’s Soccer history on May 1st, 2009.  Davis joined WSU after four seasons at George Washington University.  While at GWU, he worked with the squad’s goalkeepers and assisted Head Coach, George Lidster with recruiting, training, scheduling, budgeting, fundraising, alumni outreach, and monitoring the team’s academic success.  Davis also has coaching experience with several Olympic Development Programs across the country, serving on the staff of the Wisconsin ODP in 2004 and Virginia ODP from 2005-2008.  He is currently involved with Ohio South ODP, holding NSCAA National and Advanced National Diplomas along with NSCAA Level I and Level II Goalkeeper Diplomas, USSF Goalkeeper License, and a USSF B License.  Davis played for the University of Cincinnati in 1997 and the University of Wisconsin in 1998, graduating from Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in history in 2001.

 

Harold DeLotelle

Harold DeLotelle is no stranger to the Beavercreek Soccer Community, serving as the Beavercreek HS Assistant Varsity Coach for 13 years, and the JV Head coach for 5 years.  DeLotelle was the MVHSSA Assistant Coach of the Year in 2009.  He was the BSA Celtics Girls Coordinator/Coach for 8 years and served as Club Trainer with multiple teams since 2008.  Beyond the club level, DeLotelle is the ODP Lead State Coach for the 98’ Boys and served as the ODP Lead District Coach for the 2000 Girls squad.  In total, DeLotelle has over 20 years of coaching experience, including European Coaching Experience, winning the Netherlands Harlem Coca Cola Cup and the Denmark Koge Cup with teams in 2009.  Harold served in the United States Army for 20 years and currently holds NSCAA Advanced National and NSCAA Level I Goalkeeper Diplomas.  Harold has also been Kinesiotherapist  Exercise Specialist for 33 years.

 

Joe Flach

Also a Beavercreek native, Joe Flach was a three year varsity letterman at Carroll High School, advancing to the state semi-finals on two occasions.  As a youth player, Joe played for Team Dayton and Team Ohio soccer clubs, winning four state titles, while claiming one year as runner-up.  Joe attended Wright State University where he played for the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team for 5 seasons.  Now a graduate of Wright State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Joe is an active player for two men’s amateur teams:  Chromeparts and the Cincinnati Freedom.

 

Corey Griest

A Springfield Ohio Native, Corey Griest was a four year varsity letterman for Northwestern High School, collecting various All District and All Area honors.  As a youth player, Griest played for Team Dayton and Ohio FC, advancing to the Ohio South State Cup Finals on two occasions.  Griest participated in the Ohio South Olympic Development Program and was selected to the State Team on three occasions.  He attended Wright State University where he played Varsity Soccer for 3 seasons, before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management.  Upon graduation, Griest joined the staff of The Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer where he assisted MLS Camps with various clinics, and community outreach projects.  He is currently the Director of Promotions/Nutter Center Liaison for Wright State University.  Corey Griest joined the Beavercreek Celtics as Interim Director of Training in March of 2011 and also serves as the head coach for the Celtic U11 Boys White Team.

 

Adam Harp

A Beavercreek native, Adam Harp was a three year varsity letterman at Beavercreek High School.  As a youth player, Adam was an active participant in the Olympic Development Program, making the state team and advancing to regional camp on multiple occasions.  Adam attended Wright State University and was a four year player on the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team.  In his career at Wright State, Adam scored 9 goals and added several assists.  Now a graduate of Wright State with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Adam is an assistant coach for the Celtic U9 Girls White team, coach of the Celtic U9 Girls Blue team, and also serves as a club trainer.

 

Dave Korn

Formerly an assistant coach at the University of Denver, Dave Korn joined the Wright State Men’s Soccer coaching staff just this April.  Prior to Denver, Korn served as an assistant coach at Lafayette in 2007.  Along with his college coaching career, Korn has had several coaching stints at the club level, taking the Colorado Fusion Soccer Club to the U17 State Cup Finals, and serving as the director of coaching at Foothills Futbol Club, the second largest club in Southern Arizona.  At Foothills, he oversaw the implementation and education of more than 35 coaches.  A 2007 graduate of the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Korn earned a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Denver in 2010 and currently holds a USSF B License.

 

 

Keenan Mikal

Keenan Mikal is currently a member of the Ohio Galaxies Coaching Staff.  Keenan was a player for the San Diego State Aztecs for four seasons before playing professional for the Dayton Dynamo of the American Indoor Soccer Association.   He currently holds a NSCAA National and NSCAA Advanced Diploma along with a USSF National D License.  Keenan is also the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Xenia High School.
